AWO Neuss – Sozialer Partner in allen Lebensphasen

Arbeiterwohlfahrt Neuss (AWO Neuss) was founded in 1949 and has been a reliable partner for people in all walks of life in the Rhine district of Neuss ever since. As an independent, member-supported welfare organisation, AWO Neuss is committed to a socially just society that gives everyone access to education, training, culture and social participation.

AWO Neuss carries out community-oriented social work and offers a comprehensive range of social services and facilities. The association operates six daycare centres, one after-school care centre and the Further Hof district centre, which serves as a meeting place for young and old and focuses on community-oriented work, open youth work and various counselling services. The services also include support for families and children, senior citizens with meeting places and the newly opened AWO Vital day care centre in Furth, as well as people in need of professional help and training. Through these diverse facilities and neighbourhood-based projects, AWO Neuss creates spaces for exchange, mutual support and social participation.

The work of AWO Neuss is based on the principle of supporting people regardless of their origin or worldview and helping them to shape their lives independently and responsibly. With its diverse range of services, AWO Neuss makes a significant contribution to social cohesion and improving living conditions.
